FINANCE
For the past 5 years, I have owned a shares portfolio of different french companies (Thomson Multimedia, GFI Informatique, Wanadoo...). I read electronic version of financial journals and keep up to date with economic news. For the last 3 years, I subscribe to the magazine The Economist.


SPORT
During my PhD in Southampton, I organized a weekly soccer game for the staff and postgraduates students of the Physics Department. I also enjoy playing Tennis and Squash. I played in a French tennis club for 10 years.


CINEMA
I am a real fan of cinema. I am particularly interested in the cinematographic technique.
Whilst at the University of Paris, I passed the following courses in the Faculty of Arts:
- Introduction to Audio-Visual Communication (Mark: 15/20),
- Studies of the Cinematographic Art (Mark: 12/20)
Steven Spielberg (because of his technique, simple and efficient) and John Kassavetz (because of the intensity of his stories and the truthness of his characters) are my two favorite directors. Hitchcock is an amazing  director, although some of his creations are repetitive
Among my favorites actors, there is Jodie Foster and Robert De Niro.

Some of the movies that I really loved are: Vertigo, Shindler's list, Taxi Driver, Analyze this, Finding Nemo (very creative), Matrix I (interesting concept), ...
I have a lot of difficulties to appreciate Musical Comedies. For example, I enjoyed watching Chicago, mainly for the imagination of the director rather than for the story and the actors' performance.
